Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development in Python and C++.
• Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, multithreading and distributed systems.
• Experience with trading workflows and market risk analytics.
• Knowledge of backend architecture and scalable software design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-office risk systems supporting trading activity and real-time risk monitoring.
• Build high-performance applications and calculation frameworks using Python and C++.
• Engineer scalable systems for processing market data, positions, P&L and portfolio risk metrics.
• Develop APIs and distributed services linking trading platforms with analytics and risk infrastructure.
• Build tools supporting risk sensitivities, stress testing and portfolio risk aggregation.
• Optimise performance, concurrency, latency and reliability across production systems.
• Collaborate with PMs, Traders and Risk teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of software architecture, development and production delivery.
