Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains is seeking an Application Development Engineer to create embedded engine control software for the RBPT F1 ICE. You will work in the ICE Controls group to maximize hardware performance, ensure robustness, and comply with FIA regulations.

Responsibilities include real-time development for the F1 ECU, validating code with SIL/HIL/DIL, data analysis, and contributing to DevOps tooling and plant-model validation in a high-performance motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software for automotive or engine control.
• Strong debugging and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Real-time application development of ICE control software for the F1 ECU.
• Turn problems into plans for software development.
• Produce clear, readable and efficient code.
• Code validation using SIL, HIL, DIL or dyno.
• Data analysis.
• Software tool development.
• Code generation environment development as part of Dev Ops.
