Remarkable Jobs Limited is seeking a Software Engineer specialising in DSP to join our established R&D team in Salisbury. The role focuses on real-time embedded software for SHARC DSP processors in high-end audio products, from concepts to production-ready firmware.

You will prototype in MATLAB, then implement algorithms in C, write drivers for DSP peripherals, and collaborate with electronics and acoustics engineers while using test equipment for validation.

Qualifications

• 3 years' commercial C/C++ experience.
• Real‑time embedded software experience.
• DSP / signal processing applications knowledge.
• Audio DSP knowledge would be highly beneficial.
• Filter design, FFT, sample rate conversion or dynamic range control.
• Analog Devices SHARC experience would be a big advantage.
• Git, Jira and Agile experience beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement real-time embedded software for DSP applications.
• Prototype processing components in MATLAB, then implement them in C.
• Write drivers for DSP and PCB peripherals.
• Work with DAC/ADC and digital audio circuitry.
• Bring up and debug new prototype PCBs.
• Work closely with firmware, electronics and acoustics engineers.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analysers and audio test equipment.
• Take part in peer code reviews.
