bet365 is seeking a Software Developer to build and enhance the core infrastructure powering a global data ecosystem.

Operating within Platform Engineering, the Data Platform team provides real-time streaming, cloud-based databases, release management, distributed key-value storage and bespoke technical solutions. These platforms enable developers to access, process and manage information in real-time and at immense scale.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
• Background in using Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with high-volume transactional environments.
• Track record of developing low-latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of dashboards and monitoring stack.
• Capability to manage multiple projects with independent deadlines and deliverables.
• Competence in working with Linux.

Responsabilités

• Develop automation and developer tooling for the platform.
• Support release management and testing activities across services.
