• Supervise junior team members undertaking landlord and tenant transactions ensuring high quality efficient and commercial advice.
• Lead on investment sales and purchases of a broad range of assets for a wide range of clients.
• Assist with financing and corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate documents with a high level of attention to detail to ensure they meet client requirements.
• Provide commercial advice to clients to ensure that their interests are protected and that all relevant laws and regulations are adhered to at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our office in Southampton. The Southampton office combines with our offices in London and Manchester to give a broad and deep real estate capability across the sector. There is strong collaboration with teams in London and Manchester with matters being resourced seamlessly between our three UK offices, drawing on different practices and skills in our various locations.

You will

Skills and experience required

• Strong experience advising on leasing transactions and the full range of asset management transactions.
• Experience of working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical and excellent drafting skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability, supporting cases across a broad range of legal issues.
• Commercial focus with a knowledge of key areas of the law and able to provide clear, concise, practical advice.
• Working collaboratively with other fee earners including supervising more junior team members.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• The ability to work independently but also keen to work in a challenging, team‑based environment.
