A prestigious law firm in London is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team. The Real Estate team is a core part of the firm's offering, known for handling complex, high-value transactions across the commercial and residential property sectors.

Due to continued growth, the team is looking for a talented Senior Associate to play a key role in advising clients and mentoring junior colleagues. This role offers significant career progression, with a clear path toward partnership for the right candidate.

THE ROLE

As a Real Estate Senior Associate, you will manage a varied and high-quality caseload, including:

1. Investment transactions: advising on the acquisition, disposal, and asset management of commercial properties, including office, retail, and mixed-use developments.
2. Landlord and tenant matters: negotiating commercial leases, acting for both landlords and corporate occupiers.
3. Development projects: supporting clients on site acquisitions, development agreements, and planning matters.
4. Property finance: advising borrowers and lenders on secured lending transactions.
5. Strategic advice: providing commercial and practical guidance to clients on real estate matters, often working alongside colleagues in planning, construction, corporate, and private client teams.
6. Mentoring and supervision: supporting junior lawyers in their development and contributing to the overall success of the team.

THE CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. At least 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Real Estate law gained from a reputable firm.
2. A strong track record in handling complex real estate transactions with minimal supervision.
3. Excellent technical legal knowledge and a commercial mindset.
4. Experience advising high-value clients, including institutional investors, developers, and lenders.
5. The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Strong leadership skills and the willingness to support junior colleagues.
7. A proactive, ambitious, and team-oriented approach.
