Job description

Overview

This Top UK law firm and truly global Real Estate practice is looking to grow its Scottish Real Estate team in Scotland and is keen to speak to Senior Associates (minimum of 7 years PQE). The team currently provide a complete range of Real Estate services to a variety of clients across national and international jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Work across developments, investments, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, retail and structured investments
  • Be involved in real estate finance, construction and property litigation matters
  • Develop and infrastructure projects experience is desirable
  • Engagement in investment-based disposals and acquisitions (including corporate share acquisitions)
  • Collaborate with a project team including construction and planning colleagues
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial real estate documents such as sale/purchase contracts, easements, licenses and agreements for lease
  • Manage real estate due diligence requirements such as the preparation/review of certificates/reports on title
  • Carry out asset management and portfolio management work
Qualifications/Experience
  • Senior Associate with a minimum of 7 years PQE in Real Estate
  • Experience across development and infrastructure projects, and investment-based disposals and acquisitions (including corporate share acquisitions)
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional project teams including construction and planning
