Job summary

Gallagher is recruiting a Broker Placement Manager to join our Real Estate division in London. You will implement placement strategy across Real Estate business, building strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to secure favorable terms for clients.

You will work with Account Handlers, Executives and clients to develop effective placement strategies, manage insurer relationships and drive growth within the Real Estate portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Placement Broker or Real Estate Broker is desirable.
• Experience placing or underwriting Real Estate risks including property owners' risks.
• Understanding of complex property portfolios and underwriting considerations.
• Experience with layered, co-insured or complex placement structures would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advise on broking strategies with Account Handlers, Account Executives and Client Directors, negotiating with insurers to secure placement solutions.
• Develop placement strategies for a range of Real Estate risks and maintain insurer relationships.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Claims, Risk Management, Construction and other teams to deliver client solutions.
• Represent the placement team at internal, insurer and client meetings to demonstrate coordinated strategy.
• Travel as required to support Real Estate business and maintain relationships with insurers and clients.
