Job summary

The University of Sheffield’s College of Business, Technology & Engineering invites applications for an MRICS/FRICS real estate professional to join Sheffield Business School as a lecturer-practitioner. Grade 7 salary £39,906 to £44,746 per annum, dependent on experience.

You will translate professional practice into engaging learning, develop curriculum, and mentor students. While teaching experience is not essential, you should bring current industry knowledge across commercial or residential

Qualifications

• MRICS or FRICS and a relevant degree or professional qualification.
• Experience in commercial or residential real estate, planning and development, or real estate law/practice.
• Ability to translate professional practice into engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum in real estate within Sheffield Business School.
• Embed real-world examples, professional casework and contemporary industry issues.
• Engage with industry partners to enhance student learning and career readiness.
