Our client, a reputable top 50 Law Firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Lawyer to join their Manchester team on a contract basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified solicitor with over four years of post-qualification experience to work alongside market-leading developers, property businesses, investors, and affordable housing providers. What you'll do:


* Advise on all legal aspects of loans secured by collateral such as real estate or other assets, ensuring comprehensive support for both lenders and borrowers.
* Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and related contracts while maintaining strict compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Conduct thorough title investigations and due diligence processes to identify potential risks and ensure smooth property transactions.
* Prepare detailed reports on findings from due diligence activities, providing clear recommendations to clients regarding risk mitigation strategies.
* Review complex loan agreements and security documentation to ensure accuracy, enforceability, and alignment with client objectives.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients including banks, financial institutions, developers, investors, and other key stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues within the real estate team to deliver seamless service across multiple projects simultaneously.
* Manage a busy workload efficiently by prioritising tasks according to deadlines and client needs without compromising quality or attention to detail.
* Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices in secured lending law and property law matters.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation affecting real estate finance to provide informed advice at all times.


What you bring:


* Qualified Solicitor Regulation Authority (SRA) solicitor status with at least four years’ post-qualification experience in real estate law is essential for this position.
* A completed law degree along with admission to the relevant jurisdiction’s bar or law society demonstrates your foundational legal expertise.
* Comprehensive understanding of secured lending law, property law, and finance law enables you to navigate complex transactions confidently.
* Proven ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting tight timescales ensures timely delivery of high-quality legal services.
