Job Overview

A major UK law firm with a nationally recognized real estate practice is seeking a driven and commercially focused Real Estate Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join its successful and collaborative team in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex, high-value real estate transactions with a diverse client base and supportive senior leadership.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Landlord and tenant work
  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Portfolio management and asset transactions
  • Strategic development and investment work

Support junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales) with at least 1 year post-qualified experience
  • Experience at a large regional or City firm with exposure to complex real estate matters
  • Strong technical skills with a practical, commercial approach
  • Experience advising landlords and/or tenants on large property portfolios
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Proactive team player with interest in networking and business development
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues (preferred)
