Real Estate Renewables Lawyer (4+ years')

About the Role:

You’ll be advising on the property aspects of major renewables projects across Scotland and beyond. Expect to work on a wide range of technologies, including:

  • Onshore and offshore wind
  • Hydro and pumped storage hydro
  • Solar and battery storage
  • Biomass, district heating and tidal projects

You’ll be involved in:

  • Drafting and negotiating leases, options and certificates of title
  • Advising on the sale, purchase and financing of operational and development-stage projects
  • Managing complex titles and rural land issues
  • Supporting junior team members and collaborating with other departments
  • Taking part in business development and client relationship work

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years’ PQE in a real estate or rural property role
  • Experience advising on renewable energy transactions
  • Strong drafting, communication and project management skills
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset
  • Ability to support and supervise junior team members
