Private Practice Recruitment | London | Top-Ranked US & International Law Firms

Following recent growth and increased deal flow, this leading US firm is looking to expand its Real Estate Funds and Indirect Real Estate practice with the hire of a junior to mid-level associate.

The team, led by three market-leading partners, offers a rare opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of real estate private equity and credit funds. The practice is top-ranked in both debt and equity fund formation (Legal 500 / Chambers) and advises on a wide range of matters including fund structuring, joint ventures, secondaries, secured portfolio transactions, and closings. The client base includes some of the most prestigious fund managers, institutional investors, financial institutions, and family offices in the industry.

This role presents a compelling alternative to the typical US firm model—combining:

  • A lean team structure with real responsibility and visibility,
  • Direct access to high-value, complex work,
  • US-level compensation, and
  • A more balanced culture with lower target hours than many top-tier UK firms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong associate looking to deepen their experience in real estate funds within a high-performing yet supportive environment. To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualification as a common law lawyer, with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience
  • Exposure to real estate funds at a leading practice (experience in secondaries and separately managed accounts is preferred)
  • Strong academic credentials
