Overview

Property Finance Solicitor – Belfast

Artemis Human Capital is currently partnering with a leading commercial firm in Belfast that is experiencing a sustained period of growth and is now looking to expand its Banking & Finance team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with around 4 years’ PQE and experience in property finance to join a highly regarded practice, advising on high-value, cross-jurisdictional transactions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Working closely with senior lawyers and partners, you’ll advise a range of institutional lender clients on secured lending transactions, corporate banking matters, and enforcement issues - particularly where there is a real estate or development finance element involved.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising on all aspects of secured lending, including title review, security documentation, and facility agreements


• Supporting enforcement actions and asset recovery involving property-backed loans


• Working on transactions involving both NI and ROI jurisdictions


• Liaising directly with lender clients, borrowers, and other professional advisors

Criteria

• Approximately 4 years’ PQE, ideally gained within banking, property finance, or real estate law


• Solid understanding of secured lending and property-related banking transactions


• Excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic, client-focused approach


• Strong drafting skills and experience managing files with minimal supervision
