You will work alongside highly regarded partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to a wide spectrum of real estate finance work. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements.
- Project manage multi-party, multi-jurisdictional transactions, ensuring efficient delivery to the highest standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, advising on legal risks and commercial opportunities in the real estate finance space.
- Collaborate effectively across teams and jurisdictions, while also supervising junior lawyers and supporting their development.
- Keep abreast of legal and market developments affecting real estate finance and actively contribute to client and internal training initiatives.
- Participate in broader group initiatives, including business development, responsible business, and firmwide reputation-building efforts.
About You:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5-8 years' PQE in real estate finance gained at a top-tier law firm.
- Strong track record advising on lender-side and borrower-side transactions, with experience of both UK and cross-border matters.
- Excellent drafting and technical legal skills, with the confidence to manage matters autonomously and lead client relationships.
- Commercially minded, team-oriented, and proactive in mentoring junior team members.
- A strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
