The Role

You will play a key role in delivering complex investment and development finance transactions, often involving senior/mezzanine structures, REO/NPL deals, and high-value portfolio financings. Acting as lead counsel on major matters, you’ll work closely with partners and clients, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on high-value real estate finance transactions with minimal supervision
  • Advise a diverse client base including institutional lenders, private equity sponsors, and developers
  • Supervise and support junior lawyers and trainees
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives

About You

  • England & Wales qualified (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ PQE in real estate finance from a highly regarded law firm
  • Strong technical skills and a proven track record in managing complex transactions
  • Commercially minded with excellent client-facing abilities
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to mentoring and leadership
  • Experience in cross-border finance work is advantageous
