Job description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic solicitor to join our national team, which includes 3 partners and 13 fee earners. You will collaborate with the team nationwide, handling a variety of cases, either managing your own caseload with support from senior colleagues—particularly on residential landlord and tenant matters—or assisting senior team members on their cases to gain valuable experience.

You will also work alongside colleagues in our Restructuring and Insolvency team, acting for Law of Property Act Receivers, high street banks, and private banks involved in insolvency-related property litigation and complex mortgage disputes. The role requires excellent organizational skills and pragmatic working approaches. You must be technically proficient with relevant market experience and support the team’s growth and development.

Responsibilities include participating in practice development, engaging in business development, and staying updated on relevant legal changes. You should be an exceptional team player, capable of working collaboratively to achieve optimal client outcomes and support team members. This position offers significant career progression opportunities within a leading UK law firm.

Our responsible business initiatives underpin our identity, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, social responsibility, community investment, and environmental sustainability, including our commitment to climate action and pro bono work.

As part of our onboarding, successful applicants will undergo employment screening, including checks on eligibility to work, criminal records, and financial standing, conducted by trusted third parties, in compliance with data protection laws.

We seek an experienced Solicitor with a passion for litigation and a desire to advance their career. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Qualification via the traditional SRA route or CILEX, with 1-5 years PQE
  • Experience managing caseloads with attention to detail and excellent client service
  • Technical expertise in Property Litigation, including commercial and residential disputes
  • A strong enthusiasm for this legal area and commitment to client outcomes under pressure

Our core values include pioneering spirit, approachability, tenacity, efficiency, and integrity. We are a national firm with local reach, dedicated to supporting individuals and businesses through personalized, inclusive legal services. We foster a friendly environment where colleagues are valued and supported to work flexibly, balancing client needs and personal wellbeing.

Our Real Estate team specializes in commercial and residential disputes, focusing on landlord and tenant litigation, serving investors, developers, retailers, and corporate clients managing property portfolios.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with options to buy additional leave
