Placements24 seeks a seasoned Real Estate Development Manager to lead a portfolio of development projects in East London. You will guide each project through acquisition, feasibility, design, construction and completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, legal teams and authorities to deliver on time and within budget.

The role demands a track record of delivering complex developments, strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management, with familiarity of the East London regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years’ progressive experience in real estate development project management.
• Proven track record delivering complex real estate development projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling and contract negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with East London development landscape is an advantage.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Development Manager to oversee a portfolio of development projects in East London. This role involves managing all phases of the development lifecycle, from site acquisition and feasibility studies to design, construction, and project completion. You will coordinate with architects, contractors, legal teams, and government authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a key leadership position for an experienced professional within the Eastern Cape property market to drive significant development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end development process for multiple real estate projects concurrently.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site analysis, and financial modeling for potential developments.
