Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Real Estate Associate [2-4 PQE+] to join their team in Surrey.

Candidate Profile

The ideal individual will have trained with an established regional, city, or national firm and gained a solid overview of a broad range of real estate transactions, including:

• Landlord & Tenant
• Commercial Portfolio Management
• Investment

This opportunity is suited for a highly motivated Associate with experience in complex projects and high-value corporate occupier work, who enjoys and excels at business development.

Team and Client Overview

You will join a team with an impressive client list of national and large regional businesses. The firm has a strong reputation for landlord and tenant work across the retail sector, supporting acquisition and estate management strategies.

The team now requires an experienced lawyer to assist with transactional due diligence and management work for retail clients, on both landlord and tenant sides. Previous experience in telecoms matters is advantageous for working with clients in that sector.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in all aspects of asset management, advising clients on acquiring, managing, and disposing of real estate, as well as planning for the future and providing innovative solutions.

The team collaborates with planning, construction, and property disputes teams and utilizes innovative technology solutions in partnership with our Client Innovation team.

Clientele

You can expect to advise a range of clients including:

• Commercial and residential developers
• Investors
• Major corporate occupiers
• Banks and funders

Experience & Skills

• 2-4+ years’ PQE in Real Estate matters, including complex landlord and tenant work
• Interest in business development and expanding a client network
• Strong technical skills, relationship-building abilities, and financial hygiene
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, with a positive attitude
• Ambitious, driven, and committed to supporting growth in Real Estate services
• Ability to work closely with the Head of Department and team members
• Attention to detail
