    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • With new and exciting client mandates, particularly in the net zero space, our Tier 1 ranked team is looking for a 3 PQE + lawyer to join our expanding team in Manchester.
    • You will act for a number of FTSE 100 and local clients, supporting major UK infrastructure projects and helping clients meet their decarbonisation goals.
    • We provide first-class technical insight and training, seeking an enthusiastic team member who wants to build a long-term career and become a well-rounded lawyer providing quality, commercial advice.

    THE TEAM

    • The Real Estate group is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest, with nearly 200 members. Our Manchester office's team includes 7 partners and circa 29 fee earners.
    • The team emphasizes transactional expertise and a commercial, business-oriented approach to property matters.
    • We advise major clients on exciting schemes, such as Peel's acquisition and redevelopment of Fiddler's Ferry power station, Bruntwood's SciTech campuses, and National Grid's transition to Net Zero by 2050.
    • We utilize the latest technology, including Orbital Witness and HighQ platforms, and encourage testing new tech, including generative AI.

    WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

    • Support a variety of work, from commercial leases to large-scale projects focused on net zero initiatives.
    • Manage large projects involving leases or easements, using advanced legal tech and collaborating with team members.
    • Maintain and develop client relationships, providing timely, high-quality advice.
