Description

Our client, a well-established real estate investment management firm is looking to recruit an Asset Manager.

This role is responsible for the investment performance of a property portfolio, primarily focused on large-scale commercial properties in the UK. The successful candidate will devise and implement asset management strategies, manage external consultants, and drive value-adding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Management: Develop and execute strategic and tactical asset management plans, report to fund managers and clients, and manage property-related activities such as rent reviews, lease expiries, and refurbishments.
Capital Transactions: Identify and assist with asset disposals and purchases, and manage capital projects.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain a compliant culture.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of specialists.

Qualifications and Experience

10 years+ relevant property experience in a similar role
Strong market knowledge and network of industry professionals in the property sector
Experience in marketing, letting, rent reviews, lease renewals, and refurbishment projects
Strong team management, communication, and analytical skills

Additional Skills

Strong understanding of property fundamentals and market trends
Ability to think strategically and make sound investment decisions
Excellent organizational and planning skills
