Job summary

Foundation Recruitment is assisting an expanding European Investment Manager to recruit an Asset Manager for their UK team, based in Leeds or Manchester. You will own lease management, marketing, refurbishment and financial performance across a high-quality real estate portfolio.

You will lead rent reviews and negotiations, manage letting agents, and oversee refurbishment schemes from design through to delivery, while maintaining accurate property records and performing due diligence on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asset management or a related real estate role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with property management databases and financial systems (Yardi experience a plus).
• Solid understanding of lease terms, property law and regulation.
• Project management skills, ideally overseeing refurbishment works.
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare cost reports.
• Understanding of property marketing and leasing strategies.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Job description

A expanding European Investment Manager is looking for an Asset Manager to join their growing UK team based in Leeds or Manchester, working across a high-quality real estate portfolio.

The Role

As Asset Manager, you'll take ownership of lease management, marketing, refurbishment, dilapidations and financial performance across a portfolio of assets, working closely with internal teams and external agents to grow value for investors.

What You'll Do

• Lease Events: Lead rent reviews, renewals, break options and re-gears and overseeing third-party agents
• Property Database: Maintain and update property and tenant records in Yardi, working closely with the Property Management Accountant.
• Marketing & Letting: Appoint and manage letting/sale agents for vacant properties and disposals, overseeing deals from start through to legal completion.
• Sales & Acquisitions: Carry out inspections and legal/technical due diligence on acquisition targets, including instructing and managing legal advisors.
• Refurbishment: Prepare cost reports and recommendations and manage refurbishment schemes from design team appointment through to contractor delivery.
• Dilapidations: Ensure timely instruction in line with lease terms and manage the process to protect the company's position.

What We're Looking For
