Job description

The successful candidate will be passionate about education and looking for an rewarding role supporting students aged 11-16 years in reading across the school.

You must be a graduate and have high levels of literacy and reading

THE ROLE : Support READING KS3-4 ( SECONDARY STUDENTS )

The pupils have a wide range of individual needs therefore, you will be responsible in aiding these pupils to become independent learners while supporting them to achieve their personal learning targets & goals . You will be supporting 1-1 & small groups

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people 11-16 years , hold strong communication skills & be flexible when supporting the ever-changing needs of pupils. The role involves monitoring specific pupils’ progress towards meeting their individual targets, working closely with the pupils to review and set new targets & keep accurate /up to date records of pupil progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
