Do you want to join an organisation committed to addressing illiteracy amongst people in prison? Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty's Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Hull.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust team members, this is an exciting role leading on the delivery and development of creative and exciting literacy initiatives and an ambitious Reading Strategy at HMP Hull, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

This role will be prison-based. Please note this role is a fixed term contract until 31st July 2026, with possibility of extension. Interviews are planned for the 6th November 2025.
