    In line with our growth strategy, we are seeking to appoint one Reader in Operations Management to support existing and new programmes as well as advance understanding in key areas of Operations Management such as Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, Global Outsourcing, and Procurement etc, which have become increasingly relevant for the study of Business and Management. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join the Innovation and Sustainability Division and the Operations and Information Systems Management (OISM) Research Group who can make a significant contribution to the implementation of our research, teaching and learning strategy. The OISM Group has an international reputation in its key areas of research; members have published in 4-star ‘World Elite’ and 4-star journals and have won-in funding from bodies such as the EU, UKRI, and Leverhulme Trust. Teaching duties will include contributing effectively to the MSc programmes in Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing / Global Supply Chain Management / AI and Strategy, as well as to the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programmes.

    They should also have an active research profile in the subject area including journal publications 4-star journals, a record of income generation, and be experienced in teaching Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Project Management or related business subjects to a high standard and able to demonstrate effective and innovative teaching practice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The candidate should have substantial experience in programme management and development, dealing effectively with quality assurance and compliance process.
