Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks.
• Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and professional manner.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as cooking, assembling sandwiches, salads or snacks.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all areas of the café.
• Operate coffee machines, blenders, cookers and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces.
• Restock supplies to ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Follow prison rules and regulations as set out by the prison.
