Support the frontline work that keeps our customers safe and our network running
As our Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting frontline repair activities across our gas network. This isn't just about responding to gas escapes – it's about helping deliver safe, efficient and reliable services for the millions of customers who depend on us every day.
Based in and around the Norwich/Suffolk area, you'll work closely with a Team Leader and wider operational teams to support emergency response, repairs and network maintenance activities. You'll gain valuable hands‑on experience while helping to protect our infrastructure, support customers and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, thrives in a team environment and is looking to build a long‑term career within a vital industry.
As this role requires the use of respiratory protective equipment, you'll need to be clean shaven each day in line with health and safety requirements. The role also includes participation in a 1-in-6 standby rota and associated call‑out responsibilities.
