Job summary

Apollo Care South Wirral is seeking a care companion to work in the community visiting clients in their own homes. The role focuses on helping individuals stay healthy and live independently, with tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship.

No two days are the same, you may accompany someone on activities or assist with home routines such as washing and dressing, providing reassurance and practical support to promote wellbeing.

Job description

As a care companion you will work in the community visiting individuals within their own homes. The aim of your role is to keep individuals healthy and independently living at home.

Care in the home can include personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and companionship. No day is the same, you may be taking someone out for the day or helping them to manage their washing at home.
