Job summary

Senad Group's Alderwasley Hall School – Upper Site is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the existing domestic team. The role involves cleaning all living areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and classrooms within the residential school, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

The post is based on site, 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:30–12:30 and Friday 06:00–12:00, term time only. Experience would be advantageous but not essential; a valid DBS check will be required and

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic/cleaning advantageous.
• Must be reliable and able to work with residential environment.
• DBS check required and safeguarding policies followed.

Responsibilities

• Clean all living areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and classrooms.
• Work to high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Support the residential school environment as part of the domestic team.

About Us

Alderwasley Hall School & Sixth Form provides educational/residential support for children and young adults with Autism and associated challenging behaviours.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing domestic team. The post is based at Alderwasley Hall School and involves carrying out cleaning duties within our residential school. You will be responsible for cleaning all living areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and classrooms.

Experience would be of an advantage but not essential. Due to the Schools rural location your own transport may be required.
