Job summary

SENAD Group is seeking apart-time Cleaner to join Alderwasley Hall School & Sixth Form, cleaning living areas, bathrooms, kitchens and classrooms within the residential setting.

Hours: 30 per week (Mon-Thu 6:30am–12:30pm, Fri 6:00am–12:00pm), term time only. Experience welcome but not essential; enhanced DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Based at Alderwasley Hall School, you may need own transport due to rural location and safeguarding procedures will apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning duties within schools is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a domestic team and follow hygiene standards.
• DBS check will be required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning across living areas including bathrooms, kitchens and classrooms.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the residential school.
• Work as part of the domestic team to support safeguarding and welfare policies.

Alderwasley Hall School & Sixth Form provides educational/residential support for children and young adults with Autism and associated challenging behaviours.

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing domestic team. The post is based at Alderwasley Hall School and involves carrying out cleaning duties within our residential school. You will be responsible for cleaning all living areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and classrooms.

Experience would be of an advantage but not essential. Due to the Schools rural location your own transport may be required.
