Job summary

Nuffield Health in Weston-super-Mare is recruiting a Swim Instructor for our bank/ad-hoc pool team. You will deliver safe, engaging lessons to customers, with one-to-one or group classes, using the Swim England framework.

You should hold ASA Level 2 / Swim England Level 2, have strong people skills and a passion for swimming. The role pays up to £20 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including holiday allowance, pension and gym membership discount.

Qualifications

• AS A Level 2 / Swim England Level 2 qualification is required.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Experience teaching swimming is preferred.

Responsibilities

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you'll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
