Job summary

Mendip Green Primary School is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team and support learning across the school. The role involves classroom and pastoral support to help pupils reach their potential, with responsibilities from lesson delivery to creating a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 GCSEs including English and Maths, plus relevant experience in schools or childcare. Term-time hours apply, with 32 hours 30 minutes per week expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs (Grade C/Level 4 or above), including English and Maths.
• Experience supporting learning within a school, educational or childcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.

Mendip Green Primary School is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons and positive learning experiences for pupils across the school. You will provide both classroom and pastoral support, helping children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
