Switch Mentoring is looking for warm, dependable people to mentor young people aged 8–18. We work across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, B&NES and North Somerset, and for these posts we're looking for mentors able to work in the South Gloucestershire and B&NES areas. Whether your background is in sport, the arts, music, the outdoors, youth work or something else entirely, what matters most is a real interest in young people.
Schools refer young people to us for one-to-one mentoring, and sometimes for work in pairs or small groups. Many have SEND, are neurodivergent, or have social, emotional and mental health needs, and some aren't currently attending school. Sessions happen in school and off site at sports, outdoor and cultural venues. Your job is to be a consistent, safe and positive adult in their week.
