Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd is seeking proactive PSIOs to join a busy Investigation Team across Coventry, Perry Barr, Oldbury, West Bromwich and Edgbaston. The role focuses on safeguarding, progressing complex investigations and supporting outcomes through to court.

Location: West Midlands with hybrid working arrangements; 36.5 hours per week, 6-month contract, pay £19.78 per hour PAYE. Candidates should have strong investigative experience and ability to work with vulnerable victims and partner

Responsibilities

• Manage investigations involving physical and sexual violence, child abuse and online offending.
• Gather, assess and retain evidence in an evidentially admissible format.
• Interview victims, witnesses and suspects in line with PIP2 standards.
• Identify and develop further lines of enquiry.
• Conduct risk assessments and work effectively with multi-agency partners.
• Support vulnerable victims and provide appropriate information and signposting.
• Analyse evidence and intelligence to progress investigations and identify offenders.
• Prepare accurate case files, reports and evidential material ready for court.
• Manage workload effectively and deliver investigations within required timescales.
• Contribute to ongoing safeguarding and public protection arrangements where required.

Job description

Pay Rate: £19.78 per hour PAYE, with flexible paid holiday

Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 0700-1600)

Length of Contract: 6 months

Location: West Midlands (Various Locations)

Working Arrangements: Hybrid - The Ratio will be 80/20 working from home However this can change to 60/40 with 40% working from home. These arrangements will be confirmed the manager.

PSIO – Safeguarding & Investigations

We are seeking proactive and experienced PSIOs to join a busy Investigation Team across Coventry, Perry Barr, Oldbury, West Bromwich and Edgbaston.

This is a dedicated safeguarding and investigative role focused on protecting vulnerable people, progressing complex investigations and supporting outcomes through to court.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage investigations involving physical and sexual violence, child abuse and online offending.
• Gather, assess and retain evidence in an evidentially admissible format.
