Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking operatives for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the West Midlands. You will set up and operate crosshead extrusion machinery, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure quality while maintaining production records and 5S practices.

Two shift options are available with competitive pay and potential for permanent placement after a successful trial period. Prior experience in extrusion and adherence to safety standards are essential.

• Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records.
• Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job description

There are two shifts available. Please see details below:

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 18:00.

Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 19:00.

Pay rate: £14 per hour.

You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below.

Daily duties include:

Work under the direction of a Team Leader, following assigned tasks and instructions.

Set up and operate Crosshead Extrusion machinery.

Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning.

Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records.

Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role.

Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as required.
