Job summary

Forde Recruitments’ prestigious client, a renowned leader in the automotive industry, is seeking dedicated Auction Drivers to join Vehicle Auction sites across the UK. As a Yard Driver, you will move vehicles within the expansive site, from one location to another, with a high level of walking required and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a valid full driving licence for at least 5 years, age over 25 for insurance, and a clean licence with no DR10 endorsements.

Qualifications

• Valid full driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years.
• Applicants must be over the age of 25 for insurance stipulations.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences (No DR10 endorsements).
• Good level of physical fitness is necessary to perform the tasks effectively.
• Ability to manage time and adhere to schedules to keep operations flowing.
• Commitment to safety protocols and wearing provided safety equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operations of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Yard Driver, your primary responsibility will be efficiently moving vehicles within the expansive site, relocating them from one location to another. It is important to note that this role involves significant walking throughout the day, covering long distances. Therefore, a high level of physical fitness is essential.

While working in the yard, you will be required to always wear safety boots and a high-visibility vest.
