Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a well-established client at a brand-new Derby site. The role begins with part-time hours and will grow to full-time as the operation becomes established, with full training provided.

Duties include off-loading containers, palletising and preparing goods, order picking, packing customer orders, loading and organising stock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Start times are 7am or 9am, with 20–40 hours per week.

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Full training provided.

Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client, who has recently secured a brand-new location in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during its initial growth phase. The role will initially offer

part-time hours, with the opportunity for hours to gradually increase to

full-time as warehouse equipment is installed and the new operation becomes fully established.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Off-loading containers
• Palletising and preparing goods
• Order picking
• Packing customer orders
• Loading and organising stock
• General warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Supporting the wider warehouse team as required

About You

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible individuals who are keen to become part of a growing warehouse operation.

You must be flexible with your availability initially, as the hours will start on a part-time basis and will increase as the site becomes established.

Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidates.
