Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a growing client and new Derby location. The role starts on a part-time basis with potential to increase hours as the site expands, including full-time opportunities when equipment is installed. Training is provided and the team will operate across day shifts.

The position offers 20-40 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with flexible start times of 7am or 9am and progression to full-time as the operation stabilises.

Job description

Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client, who has recently secured a brand-new location in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during its initial growth phase. The role will initially offer

part-time hours, with the opportunity for hours to gradually increase to

full-time as warehouse equipment is installed and the new operation becomes fully established.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Off-loading containers
• Palletising and preparing goods
• Order picking
• Packing customer orders
• Loading and organising stock
• General warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Supporting the wider warehouse team as required

About You

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible individuals who are keen to become part of a growing warehouse operation.

You must be flexible with your availability initially, as the hours will start on a part-time basis and will increase as the site becomes established.

Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidates.
