Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a locum Consultant Dermatologist to provide expert dermatology care in outpatient and minor procedure settings. You will contribute to NHS services across the UK while benefiting from Medacs' specialist support and registration assistance.

We offer flexible long- or short-term assignments to suit your availability, with dedicated recruitment consultants, streamlined onboarding, and ongoing professional support including DBS/PVG checks and GMC guidance.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• MRCP with Dermatology CCT or equivalent.
• UK Right to Work.
• DBS check or PVG check if required during registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in teledermatology or skin cancer clinics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions.
• Performing minor surgical procedures.
• Supporting dermatology trainees and nurses.
• Participating in audits and service improvement.

  • A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
  • UK Right to Work
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • Experience in teledermatology or skin cancer clinics
