Job summary

Medecho LTD is seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Dermatologist to join a busy NHS Trust on an agency locum basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a consultant with substantial NHS experience to support dermatology services and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will provide comprehensive dermatology services including outpatient clinics, diagnosis and management of skin conditions, and participate in multidisciplinary discussions where required.

Qualifications

• GMC licence to practise.
• GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' consultant-level Dermatology experience.
• Previous NHS experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.

• Deliver consultant-led dermatology outpatient services.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of skin conditions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in skin cancer services and minor procedures.
• Previous experience working within NHS dermatology departments.
• Participation in audit, teaching, or quality improvement projects.

Compliance Requirements

• Valid GMC registration.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Occupational Health clearance.
• Mandatory training certificates.
• References covering recent employment history.
