Job summary

Greggs PLC is seeking a Shift Manager in Swindon to lead a team, ensure a great customer experience, and run the shop in the Manager's absence. The role covers in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru, with a focus on high standards, teamwork and operational efficiency.

You will supervise shifts, support colleagues, and help maintain product quality while managing displays and cleanliness. A strong customer-service background is essential.

• Experience in leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Reliable and flexible with shift patterns.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online. While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
