Job summary

Greggs plc in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You’ll inspire the team, engage customers, and ensure swift, friendly service across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru channels.

You’ll prepare products, manage ovens, keep displays stocked, and maintain a clean, welcoming shop. If you’ve supervised teams in a customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You’lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
