GoodPeople in Swindon is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead kitchen and bathroom refurbishment work across residential properties. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to high quality.
The role requires strong HSE knowledge, RAMS competence and the ability to read drawings and specifications. You will report to the construction team and liaise with residents and clients to maintain excellent Customer service.

We are recruiting an experienced
Site Manager to manage planned maintenance and refurbishment works across residential properties in Swindon.
The programme will include
kitchen and bathroom planned works, with the successful candidate responsible for coordinating site teams and subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Manage daily site operations and coordinate operatives and subcontractors.
Oversee planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works.
Coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials.
Monitor progress against the construction programme.
Produce short-term programmes and coordinate trades.
Carry out site inspections and monitor quality.
Ensure RAMS, work procedures and health and safety requirements are followed.
Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
Maintain accurate daily site records and project documentation.
Review drawings and specifications.
Identify and resolve programme, quality and operational issues.
Liaise with clients, residents, subcontractors and internal teams.
Maintain appropriate records relating to instructions, delays and disruption.
Ensure subcontractors and operatives have the appropriate qualifications and competencies.
Support the commercial team with subcontract packages and daywork requirements.
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained when working within occupied properties.
Proven Site Management experience within construction, refurbishment, planned maintenance or social housing.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Experience delivering residential works.
Strong HSE knowledge.
Good understanding of RAMS and site compliance.
Ability to manage programmes and resources.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
