Job summary

Cornerstone (Aberdeen) in Scotland is seeking female candidates for part-time care roles supporting five individuals with profound learning disabilities in a shared home. The job is hands-on and focused on safety, empowerment and daily routines.

No prior experience required; we will train you, pay you while you learn, and fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7), PVG and SSSC registration, with a clear path to ongoing development and community impact.

Our team and the individuals you'll support

You'll become part of a friendly, supportive team working with five amazing individuals who have profound learning disabilities and complex needs, all living together within their shared home.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the individuals, ensuring that they feel safe, understood and empowered in their every day lives.

Requirements and Commitments

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre‑employment checks.

Salary

Salary - £27,277 per annum (part-time pro rata)
