Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in North Wales for a Senior Estimator. You will review tender documents, drawings and client requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steelwork and fabrication projects.
With at least five years of estimating experience, you will analyse material, labour and subcontractor costs, obtain quotations and identify value engineering opportunities while managing multiple tenders to tight deadlines.

Modern manufacturing facilities including in-house CAD design and purpose-built spray paint shop
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steelwork, fabrication and engineering projects.
Analyse material, labour, subcontractor and overhead costs.
Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Conduct site visits where required to evaluate project scope and identify potential risks.
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
Assist with contract handovers to project delivery teams following successful bids.
Monitor market trends, material costs and industry developments.
Support business development activities and contribute to bid strategy discussions.
Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Capable of managing multiple tenders and working effectively to deadlines.
