Job summary

Omega Red Group in the UK is seeking a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our Height Safety team. You will learn and support installation, inspection, testing and repair of height safety systems across sites nationwide.

You will receive full training and have the opportunity to work toward an NVQ in Working at Heights after a qualifying period. A proactive, safety-focused mindset and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• An interest in practical, hands-on work and field-based environment.
• Willingness to travel nationwide; proactive and reliable approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence working at height or willingness to develop in this area.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
• Experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, roofing, or other practical trades.
• CSCS Card holder required.

The Role:

Omega Red Group is looking for a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our growing Height Safety team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and build a long-term career within the industry, regardless of previous experience.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, receiving full training whole assisting with the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of height safety systems across a range of sites nationwide.

As part of your development, you’ll have access to industry-recognised training and qualifications, including the opportunity to work towards an NVQ training in Working at Heights following a qualifying period. If you’re motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
