Job summary

Potens is recruiting a Support Worker at Bourne Bridge House, South Molton, to support young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in a residential setting. A full, valid driving licence and own vehicle are essential due to location and service needs.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, EAP, and funded learning opportunities (NVQ Levels 2–5). Shifts include earlies, lates, long days, and occasional sleep-ins, with 40 hours per week.

  • Provide a homely environment with encouragement, education and stimulation; support personal care and help individuals build life skills.
  • Support and participate in activities to promote choice and involvement for residents.

Job description

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

All applicants must hold a full, valid, and clean driving licence and have their own vehicle due to the location and the needs of the service.

Bourne Bridge House, South Molton is set in six acres of land, giving us a beautiful working environment and great surroundings. This is a residential service where we support young adults with learning disabilities and or autism.

What we’ll give you:

We will ensure you are rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:

£13.35 per hour weekdays and £13.60 at weekends.

Fuel allowance, £50 per month for full time staff and £25 per month for part time staff.

Full time 40 hours per week.

Flexible shift patterns available to promote work/home life balance, so a combination of earlies, lates, and long days. Sleep-ins and waking nights may be required.
