Job summary

Hertfordshire Catering Ltd (HCL) is seeking a Multi-Site Catering Assistant to cover a cluster of primary and secondary schools across West Sussex. You will travel between sites to support services, assist with food preparation and serve meals to children, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Essential: full valid driving licence; DBS paid by HCL; 16.25 hours Mon to Fri during term-time; mileage 55p per mile. Salary £12.71 per hour (£9,088 per annum).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cover a cluster of primary and secondary schools within the designated area and travel between sites to provide support services.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
• Receive, check and organise supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties and maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Represent HCL and reflect its values in all duties

Let's talk about the role of a Multi-Site Catering Assistant:

• Will be covering a cluster of primary and secondary schools within the designated area, with flexibility to travel between sites to provide support services as required.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children
• Adhering with Health & Safety regulations
• Receiving, checking, and organising supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Representing HCL and reflecting our values in everything you do

Essential Vehicle Requirements:

• Full valid driving licence
• Business insurance
• Valid MOT and road tax
• Access to your own vehicle

Salary:

£12.71 per hour (£9,088 per annum)

Mileage Reimbursement:

55p Per Mile

Hours:

16.25 hours Mon to Fri - No Weekends, No Late Nights.
