Job summary

Mr Clutch Autocentres in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team and support branch development. You will diagnose, repair and service customers' vehicles, with a focus on completing work promptly to get vehicles back on the road. A full or time-served technician with a current licence is preferred. We offer a strong bonus scheme and comprehensive in-house training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in the motor industry with relevant qualifications.
• Fully qualified or time-served vehicle technician; driving licence ideal for road tests.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and specifications.
• Test and diagnose faults to determine required work.
• Examine vehicles and provide written reports on defects or impending failures.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Mr Clutch Autocentres.

Job description

We are seeking a qualified and highly skilled Vehicle Technician/mechanic to join our friendly team and assist with the development of our branch.

Our skilled vehicle technicians / mechanics are the backbone of our business and are required to diagnose, repair and service our customers’ vehicles. We are always looking for great vehicle technicians to contribute to the success of our business by carrying out servicing or repairs in a timely fashion in order to get the vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible. If you are a fully qualified (or time served) vehicle technician and ideally hold a current driving licence (so that you can carry out vehicle road testing).

Purpose of Job

Hours: 48 (8.30-5.30 Mon to Fri & 8.30-5 Sat)

Own tools required but a starter tool-kit can be provided.
