Job summary

Mr Clutch Autocentres in Milton Keynes is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/mechanic to join our team and help develop the branch. You will diagnose, repair and service customers’ vehicles, aiming to get them back on the road as quickly as possible and act as a brand ambassador for the company.

We offer a competitive salary with an excellent bonus scheme, in-house training and career progression opportunities; own tools are required though a starter toolkit can be provided.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified vehicle technician or time-served experience.
• Current driving licence preferred to enable road testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and specification.
• Test and diagnose faults.
• Examine vehicles and provide written reports on defects or impending failure.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Mr Clutch Autocentres.
• Hours: 48 per week (8:30–17:30 Mon–Fri; 8:30–17:00 Sat).

Job description

We are seeking a qualified and highly skilled Vehicle Technician/mechanic to join our friendly team and assist with the development of our branch.

Our skilled vehicle technicians / mechanics are the backbone of our business and are required to diagnose, repair and service our customers’ vehicles. We are always looking for great vehicle technicians to contribute to the success of our business by carrying out servicing or repairs in a timely fashion in order to get the vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible. If you are a fully qualified (or time served) vehicle technician and ideally hold a current driving licence (so that you can carry out vehicle road testing).

Purpose of Job

• You will be required to carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards

• You will be required to test and diagnose faults
• You will be required to examine vehicles and provide a written
• report on vehicle (or component) defects or systems of impending failure
• You will be required to ensure all work is carried out observing safe working
• practices of self and others
• You will be required to act as a brand ambassador

Hours: 48 (8.30-5.30 Mon to Fri & 8.30-5 Sat)

Own tools required but a starter tool-kit can be provided.
